To permanently delete your Maracim account and associated personal data, use our public account deletion page. It remains available even if you no longer have the app installed.

6. Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and protect access to your device.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why it was collected.

7. Account and data deletion

When we complete a verified account deletion request, we delete or de-identify the personal information associated with the account from our active systems. This generally includes profile and authentication information, event plans, saved vendors, favorites, preferences, notes, and account-linked activity.

We may retain limited information when necessary to comply with law, maintain transaction records, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups until they are overwritten through our normal retention cycle and will not be used for ordinary business purposes.

8. Children’s privacy

Maracim is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Maracim evolves or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
