This policy applies to Maracim’s website and mobile application. Features available to you may vary by release and location.
1. Overview

- Planning information: details you choose to add, such as event preferences, dates, checklists, favorites, notes, budgets, and collaborators.

We ask for device permissions, such as notifications or location, only when a feature needs them. You can manage these permissions in your device settings.
3. How we use information
We may use information to:

Advertising measurement with Meta
Starting with mobile app version 1.0.3, Maracim uses the Meta SDK to measure app installs and app launches associated with Maracim advertisements on services such as Facebook and Instagram. This does not add advertisements inside Maracim.
The SDK may send Meta app activity, app version, device and operating-system information, network information including IP address, advertising and device identifiers when permitted, and SDK diagnostic information. Meta may link permitted information with information from its services for advertising measurement and related advertising purposes. Maracim does not explicitly send account names, email addresses, phone numbers, booking details, or uploaded documents to Meta through this integration.
On iOS, we request App Tracking Transparency permission before enabling advertising identifier collection. If you decline, the app remains fully usable and the integration keeps access to your advertising identifier disabled; measurement may use limited or aggregated signals supported by the platform. You can change your tracking permission in your device settings. On Android, you can manage or delete your advertising ID using your device privacy settings; available controls vary by device and Android version.
For information about Meta's processing and available privacy controls, see the Meta Privacy Policy. You may also contact support@maracim.com with privacy requests. Advertising measurement information is handled by Meta according to its applicable terms, retention practices, and your privacy choices.
5. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of certain personal information. You may also withdraw consent where our processing relies on it.
You can manage notification permissions in your device settings and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link provided in the message. To submit a privacy request, email support@maracim.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
To permanently delete your Maracim account and associated personal data, use our public account deletion page. It remains available even if you no longer have the app installed.
6. Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No service can guarantee absolute security, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and protect access to your device.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why it was collected.
7. Account and data deletion
When we complete a verified account deletion request, we delete or de-identify the personal information associated with the account from our active systems. This generally includes profile and authentication information, event plans, saved vendors, favorites, preferences, notes, and account-linked activity.
We may retain limited information when necessary to comply with law, maintain transaction records, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups until they are overwritten through our normal retention cycle and will not be used for ordinary business purposes.
We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. Learn more and initiate a request on the Maracim account deletion page.
8. Children’s privacy
Maracim is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Maracim evolves or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
