Delete your account and data
You can request permanent deletion of your Maracim account and the personal data associated with it, even if you no longer have the app installed.

Deletion is permanent
Once completed, you will lose access to your Maracim profile, saved plans, favorites, preferences, and other account information. This cannot normally be reversed.
Verify ownership
We may contact you at the account email to confirm that the request is genuine and protect your account.
Deletion is completed
We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days and will confirm when the process is finished.
Request deletion
Submit your request
Enter the email address connected to your Maracim account. The button opens a prepared message in your email app so the request is sent directly to our support team.
No access to your account email?
Email support@maracim.com and explain the situation. We will provide an alternative verification process where possible.
What we delete
After we verify and approve your request, we delete or de-identify the personal information associated with your Maracim account from our active systems. This may include:
- Your profile, contact details, and authentication information.
- Event plans, dates, checklists, notes, preferences, and budgets.
- Saved vendors, favorites, enquiries, and in-app activity associated with your account.
- Support history and device or usage information linked to your identity, unless retention is necessary for one of the limited reasons below.
What may be retained
We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, maintain financial or transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, or protect Maracim and its users. Any retained information will be limited to the relevant purpose and kept only for as long as necessary.
Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups until those backups are overwritten through our normal retention cycle. They are not used for ordinary business purposes while awaiting deletion.
Timing and verification
We aim to acknowledge requests within three business days and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. If applicable law requires a different timeline, or a request is unusually complex, we will explain any extension.
To prevent unauthorized deletion, we may ask you to confirm the request through the email address associated with your account or provide other limited information that reasonably verifies ownership. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, payment card numbers, or identity documents unless we specifically provide a secure verification method.
Subscriptions and vendor relationships
Deleting your Maracim account does not automatically cancel subscriptions or payments managed by Apple, Google, a payment provider, or an independent vendor. Cancel those arrangements directly with the relevant provider before requesting deletion.
Independent vendors may retain information you shared directly with them under their own privacy practices. Contact the vendor if you also want that information deleted.
